For Square coffee shops

The Square coffee shop app with your name on it

Already on Square? Brewline gives your coffee shop its own ordering app in the App Store and Google Play. App orders go into Square already paid, and your menu comes from the items you already have in Square.

Brewline works with Square. It is not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Square.

How it works with Square

Your counter keeps working the way it does

Orders arrive in Square

Each app order is created in your Square account as a paid pickup order, with every size, milk, and extra the customer chose.

Status your customers can see

Mark the order in Square or in Brewline Manager, and the customer's app shows it moving from received to ready.

Menu sync from Square

Items, prices, sizes, and options come from your Square catalog. When you change your catalog or your stock in Square, the app updates.

Paid through Square

Customers pay by card in the app through Square, and the money lands in your Square account. Refunds made in Square are reflected in the app.

Setup

What setup looks like for a Square shop

  1. Book a demo and we look at your Square menu together.
  2. You set up your D-U-N-S number and Apple and Google developer accounts. We guide you.
  3. We connect your Square account, build your app, and send you a test version.
  4. You approve it, and we submit it to the App Store and Google Play.

Plan on about 3 to 4 weeks from signup to launch. More questions

Square questions

Do I need to change anything in Square?

No. Keep your items, prices, and options in Square the way you have them. Brewline reads your menu from Square, and you keep using Square at the counter.

Is this the same as Square Online?

No. Brewline is your own branded app in the App Store and Google Play, with only your shop in it and a rewards card built in. Orders still go into Square, so your counter works the same.

Where does the money go?

App orders are paid through Square, so the money lands in your Square account like any other card sale, with your normal Square processing fees.

Do you take a cut of each order?

No. Brewline is a flat monthly price, not a commission on your orders. Your normal card processing fees from Square or Clover still apply, the same as any card sale at your counter.

How long does it take to launch?

Plan on about 3 to 4 weeks from signup to launch. If you already have a D-U-N-S number and Apple and Google developer accounts, it can be as quick as 1 to 2 weeks when your accounts are ready. The longest waits are Apple's and Google's business checks and app reviews, so part of the timeline is set by them.
